Public Enemies (2009)
Johnny Depp as John Dillinger
Colt Model 1921 Thompson SMG. - .45 ACP
It is known as the gun that made the '20's roar, and no one
epitomized the roaring '20's better than Public Enemy # 1, John
Dillinger. With his Thompson, he cut a wide swath across the United
States from Arizona to Wisconsin. FBI agent Melvin Purvis ended his
crime wave on July 22, 1934, in front of Chicago's Biograph
Theater. Dillinger had just seen Clark Gable, Myrna Loy and William
Powell in the gangster-themed Manhattan Melodrama
(1934).
