Winchester (New Haven, CT) Model 12 Black Diamond Trap Slide-Action Shotgun
Designed by Thomas Crossly Johnson, Winchester's popular hammerless Model 12 was manufactured continuously from 1912 until 1980, with a total production of 2 million guns. These were offered in a variety of grades and gauges, ranging from military and police models through the deluxe Black Diamond Trap and Pigeon Grade models. This Black Diamond shotgun was produced in 1953.
