Cutdown U.S. Springfield M1816 Percussion Conversion Musket
Rawhide/tacked wrist and forend. 45" overall. Rwhide repairs were used to hold broken stock pieces together. Wet rawhide was stretched over the break and as it dried, the shrinking of the rawhide firmly drew the parts together.
