W. W. Marston Union Pocket Model

W. W. Marston produced several different versions of this pistol. Most were five-shot models featuring octagonal barrels, but the final design included a six-shot cylinder and round barrel. Approximately 13,000 of all types were produced. Similar to both Colt and Whitney revolvers, they were marketed under the trade names "Union," "Phenix," and "Western." The Marston Pocket Model revolvers were made from c. 1858 into the early 1860s. The serial number on this specimen indicates late production.
