This stainless steel magnum revolver bears the property stamp of the New York State Police on the lower left side of the frame. It was issued to Trooper Robert T. Starr, shield #3087, in October 1982, and carried by him until he was issued a Glock semi-automatic service pistol in July 1990. During this period, Trooper Starr was assigned to Troop C, Norwich Barracks, Chenango County, NY. Trooper Starr served with the New York State Police from February 1970 until his retirement in March 1994.

During this period, Trooper Starr was assigned to Troop C, Norwich Barracks, Chenango County, NY (Chenango County is located in the central part of the state and includes the cities of Oneonta and Cooperstown). Trooper Starr served with the New York State Police from February 1970 until his retirement in March 1994.
