Fabrica de Armas Mexico Obregon pistol
A modified version of John Browning's Model 1911 design, this pistol was manufactured in the post WWII era in Mexico City. It has a rotating barrel locking system more appropriate to a Savage M1907 pistol. The slide latch and manual safety on this pistol are combined into one long unit.
This firearm was donated in 2007 from the family of Bruce Stern. Mr. Stern's military firearms collection was one of the largest private collections in North America.
